Not every frame is available with Oakley Transitions lenses.
Benefit - As the lenses change with the lighting conditions then you will always have the right amount of tint for the conditions you are in. Just think about the weather in the United Kingdom - you start off your cycle ride at 8am in low lighting and by 12pm the sun is blistering (occasionally :-))
The Downside - You can't switch them off! Behind a windscreen the lenses will not change very much - this is due to them being activated by UV lighting - most windscreens cut out a lot of UV.
