Q:I hope that you can help. I was wondering, as it seems quite difficult to get information on sports googles, what would you recommend as the best goggles to wear to play soccer. I am aware that Edgar Davids, the Dutch international wore Oakley, they may have been Racing Jacket but I am not sure, maybe you can correct me on this. Could I aslo insert perscription lenses directly into these frames? Also what sort of lenses would you recommend?

A:In order of preference (but not necessarily style)

The lenses are polycarbonate and the prescription is made directly into the frame. Style wise not the best on the block but far better than many I have been asked to look at.

The orange lens is ideal for foot ball but you could have a spare clear lens if necessary.

The frame is tough and the lenses are polycarbonate. The downside being that as they are wrap around and have the prescription directly placed in the frame the power range available is very limited.

We carry Gator and Speedo goggles - dispatch usually same day. I will notify you if it a part is out of stock and an expected delivery date.
Diving Masks - Insert version take around 7 days to arrive. Replacement window versions are usually in stock - so same/next day dispatch
Adidas Eyewear - I carry a stock of the Evil Eye range, Gazelle, Shield. If we don't have the colour you ordered I will contact you with an alternative that I have in stock and also a delivery date for the none stock colour. They take around 7 days to deliver if an insert is required.
Swimming Goggles - We carry Gator and Speedo dispatch usually same day. For all none stock items I get a delivery date from the manufacturer - if it is going to be longer than a week from order to dispatch I will notify you immediately.
Squash Guards. - The prescription version take 10 days for delivery. the none prescription versions are usually in stock - so same day dispatch.

All our other goods are usually made to order and often I will need to call you to talk you though the lens choice - so please ensure you enter a day time number for me,.

How do I decide on the right power for the swimming goggles?

I always check the prescription for suitability and will call you if I feel the vision will not be up to standard. I can also give you an estimate of the vision you will get - I am more than happy for you to try them - since we sell over the internet you can't see it until you get it - I totally understand this.
If you try it and it doesn't work - no problem return it and I will arrange a refund less the cost of posting out to you. (prescription inserts are the only time we cannot do this - if you are unsure at all give us a call or email and I will let you know what I can do.)
